However, Gunsite goes beyond this simple discipline to include the principles of Gun-handling and Mind-set. This is called the Combat Triad. We offer multiple levels of instruction in handgun, carbine, shotgun, bolt action rifle and precision rifle. Each discipline is informed by the Combat Triad. Each Instructor at Gunsite is someone who has served in Law Enforcement, the military or both.

Firearms Sourcing
General Firearm Parts and Accessories
We use many professional services both personally and professionally. Below are brief descriptions and links to people and organizations we trust and have done business with on an extensive basis.
Primary Arms
Primary Arms is a comprehensive firearms accessories provider. As a large online retailer, it offers everything in parts and accessories, especially AR-15's, that are available anywhere. Strong performer, reliable, and trustworthy.
Sportsman's Warehouse
Another big online retailer dealing in everything outdoors. Hunting, shooting, firearms, accessories, clothing. Good prices from a good outfit.
Scheels
Just a fantastic "everything" sporting goods and outdoors store Employee owned. If you don't have a Scheel's Superstore in your area, too bad! They have everything and then some. Highly recommended either in-person or online.
Gun Mag Warehouse
Not just every possible magazine for pistols, rifles, and shotguns. A lot of other items like gun cases, scope rings, ammo, and more. Texas based. Been using them for years and still recommend very highly. Great inventory and solid people.
Spartan Precision Equipment
Spartan does a number of interesting things, not least of which is their Magnaswitch adapters and accessories. Essentially, you install an adapter on your rifle and then use one of their magnetic bipod connectors to instantly install/detach a Spartan bipod. Very different, very light, very effective. They make more than that but their stuff is very high quality and very useful. Check them out.
Gunwerks
Extreme high quality hunting/shooting systems—rifle, optic, etc.
Revic
Fantastic technology incorporated into binos, rangefinders, scopes and mounts. This stuff is higher end but performance-wise, it's hard to beat.
XS Sights
Sights for every make, model, and type of pistol. Superb quality, innovative and the best customer service in the industry. I had a problem with installing a sight. Overnighted the slide and sight package to them Friday afternoon. It arrived on a Saturday, was fixed immediately by someone who came in on a day off AND overnighted it back to me such that I received it priority 1030 a.m. on Sunday! No charge to me. You cannot buy that kind of loyalty that I have for these guys.
Faxon Firearms
We have all used Faxon barrels in AR-15 builds. They are super high quality and have never been anything but solid and accurate. Faxon over the years has expanded significantly but have not lost one step when it comes to quality. A great company with equally great products. Recommended.
Coda Evolution
The best carbon fiber handguards for AR's in the business, bar none. Super light, ultra strong. Cost effective and high performers. Have used many, always flawlessly.
MDT Tactical
When it comes to lightweight rifle chassis systems, I don't believe MDT is surpassed by anyone. Always reliable, perfect quality control, excellent value for the price. Many imitators. One and only original. The MDT Hunt 26 may possibly be the perfect rifle chassis.
Zermatt
There may be better rifle actions out there and I'm sure someone will argue that theirs is better, slicker, cheaper, etc. However, Zermatt actions are simply bulletproof, bombproof, ultra-reliable and just plain solid. And, they are a controlled feed, not push feed actions. It matters. None of us will use a hunting rifle that is not controlled feed. Especially if dangerous game or elusive, once-in-a-lifetime game animals are involved. Just plain trustworthy.
Proof Research
We cannot sing Proof's praises enough. Not only do they make accurate barrels and high performances rifles but they have just recently stunned the world with their new PXT barrel technology which thus far has shown reduced barrel wear from high pressure, high output cartridges, but it has also proven to enhance accuracy. This barrel technology promises to be the complement to Federal's new PEAK high-pressure case technology. VERY EXCITING. The proof is in the Proof.
AT3 Tactical
All things AR. Good online retailer.
JP Rifles
JP makes nothing that is not best in class, whether that's parts like the original silent captured spring for AR's to the most elegant and functional handguards to bolt action (or as they say, "Manual Rifles") guns to the best gas guns going. You pay for the premium stuff but will never regret buying quality.
Hunting — Texas, USA & International
Extensive lists of private Texas ranches, a wide variety of species across the U.S. and Canada, and safari adventures through trusted outfitters worldwide. Group hunts can be arranged locally or anywhere in the world.

Referrals to Texas-based federally licensed dealers and specialty sources for the right pistol, rifle, or shotgun for your intended use.
